BMS Service Engineer (Munster)
You will work as part of a multi-skilled service team carrying out repair and maintenance of Building Management Systems in a range of commercial and industrial buildings.
Job Description
Sirus is seeking an experienced BMS Service Engineer, but this role would also be ideal for Electricians, Refrigeration Technicians, or professionals from similar industrial backgrounds who are eager to transition into BMS. We welcome candidates with Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, or Automation skills who are interested in upskilling and gaining hands-on experience in BMS technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Work will involve commissioning, repairing and maintaining Building Automation & Management Systems.
- Delivery of effective PPM for many varied customers – primarily Cylon & Siemens Systems.
- Schedule works in conjunction with the BMS Service Manager.
- Respond to breakdown and callout requests.
- Maintain all procedures in accordance with Sirus SOPs.
- Identify opportunities for project and energy-saving initiatives and liaise with the BMS Service Manager for pricing recommended works.
- Must meet deadlines on-site and complete reports promptly.
- Must be proactive and be able to work under own initiative.
- Be client-focused and have the ability to generate your own work.
Requirements
- Good electrical, automation, mechanical and controls knowledge.
- Electrical qualification desirable.
- Experience on high & low voltage systems associated with BMS works.
- Team player with good time keeping and communication skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Ability to work independently.

Reports To
BMS Service Manager.
Remuneration & Conditions
- Salary of commensurate on experience, paid monthly directly to your bank account.
- Company van with fuel card, mobile phone.
- Tablet/laptop as applicable.

Location
This is a mobile role, and you should expect to travel to different sites on a daily basis. These sites are primarily located in Munster region but can be located anywhere in Ireland.
