Business Development Executive

Sirus is seeking a salesperson to join our team in Cork. The successful candidate will work alongside technical sales, estimating, and marketing personnel.

Job Description

The Business Development Executive role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify prospective customers and introduce them to Sirus products & services.
  • Present the benefits of our energy-saving products to potential customers.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Follow up on enquiries promptly and efficiently.
  • Prepare and submit customer quotations in a timely fashion.
  • Record opportunities and contacts on our Salesforce CRM and continually update and maintain these records.
  • Ensure a seamless handover of projects to Project Managers with clear communication.

 

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Sales experience and knowledge of building services is an advantage but not essential.
  • An understanding or some experience in BMS, automation, engineering, or electrical & instrumentation (E&I) would be beneficial.

 

Training & Personal Growth

  • On-the-job training will be provided.
  • Product training will be provided.
  • Company sponsorship for relevant training is available (all related courses in business and relevant disciplines are encouraged).

 

Reports To

  • Sales Manager.

 

Remuneration & Conditions

  • Salary commensurate with experience.
  • Annual Bonus based on performance during the year.
  • Company benefits, after the probation period, include pension and health insurance contributions.
