Technical & Projects Manager

You will support the General Manager and Service Team in delivering excellence to our customers nationwide.

Job Description

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in identifying and specifying project opportunities and in delivering contractual commitments on secured projects and works.
  • Ensure that opportunities and works are priced, planned and completed to deliver increased turnover and profitability to the group.
  • To support and work with the Group Service Managers and Service Desk to ensure the smooth transition of works post-completion.
  • To deliver projects to completion on time and on budget and to the satisfaction of all parties.
  • To identify, reduce and manage all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, commercial or otherwise) associated with every project.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and that both clients and Company health and safety policy and processes are effectively implemented across both Company and subcontractors’ activities.
  • To build strong relationships with sub-contractors and preferred suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions which meet our quality expectations can be delivered to our clients whilst managing the risk.
  • Working with other Sirus managers and teams to ensure the collaborative development of the projects either HVAC, BMS or mixed trade.
  • Development of project financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, working closely with our PMO Team and standardised processes.
  • Manage the delivery of projects within agreed budget requirements with the target to maximise profit through effective management and monitoring, cost reduction, better buying of sub-contractor services.
  • Promoting Sirus’ in-house services and wider business plans to ensure Group growth.
  • Supporting the sales process through solutions development, participation in presentations and consultation meetings.

 

Essential Qualifications/Skillset & Experience

  • Engineering, Project Management, Building Services, or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven track record of Services/Project Management in the building environment.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Strong client-facing skills.
  • Good understanding of automation, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
  • Ability to demonstrate logical processes, with good analytical skills and judgment, along with initiative and drive.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Can work well in a pressurised environment.

  • General Manager.

  • Salary negotiable depending on experience.
