Educational Initiatives

Sirus is conscious of the skills shortage in building engineering and we are committed to educational initiatives and improving engineering expertise to safeguard the future of our young engineers, our business and our country’s competitiveness.

We place a great deal of emphasis on establishing employment and skills strategies to meet long-term needs. We encourage educational initiatives such as apprenticeships and graduate schemes, CPDs, promoting attractive employment propositions and providing equal access to training and promotion opportunities that help all individuals fulfil their employment potential.

TU Dublin - Sirus Scholarships

We work closely with the Building Engineering Faculty at Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) and generally take on a couple of 2nd-year students each year under the Sirus Scholarship Program. If the students impress us in terms of their attitude and work ethic we will sponsor them for the rest of their course.

One of Sirus’ founders, Frank Caul, was also a founding member of the ASHRAE Ireland Chapter and he and our engineers continue their membership of this body. ASHRAE Ireland is committed to cultivating collaborations with pertinent local associations and state bodies and supporting Irish universities in the delivery and development of courses.
