Sirus is an Irish headquartered HVAC, BMS & Energy Efficiency Solutions and Service provider in buildings.
Sirus started out as two separate companies in separate cities. Almost 30 years ago, Frank Caul was operating a HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) company called Temperature in Cork while James Byrne had just started a new BMS (Building Management System) company called Compute Systems in Dublin. Due to changes in technology, the HVAC business required a temperature controlling system. At the time the market for building management systems, which control HVAC equipment and manage energy use, was beginning to take off.
The two companies merged to form a new company, Sirus, with a combined staff of 10 and initially operated by providing general HVAC services and carrying out BMS projects for commercial operations.
Sirus has come a long way since 1988, and now employs over 100 staff specialising in delivering critical environments to the pharma, biotech and data centre sectors. Sirus understand that risk management through the project and operations lifecycle of facilities is crucial to the success of our customers.
Through our unique blend of mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, thermodynamic and automation skillsets along with quality products; our promise is to deliver and maintain compliant, comfortable workspaces and energy efficient buildings in partnership with our customers, other service providers and suppliers.
