Document Controller

As a Document Controller at Sirus, you will organise and manage document control, document submittals, quality reviews of testing protocols and handover of document packs.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Project Document Control:

  • Control document revision
  • Manage the wet/electronic signing process
  • Manage change control
  • Maintain change control tracker
  • Organise redlining of the documents

Project Submittals:

  • Carry out a quality review of documents prior to release to the client
  • Submit documents to the client using their dedicated platform
  • Maintain a submittal tracker

Project Request for Information (RFI):

  • Organise RFI
  • Submit RFI to the client using their dedicated platform
  • Maintain an RFI tracker

Project Testing Protocols:

  • Carry out a quality review of testing protocols prior to release to the client
  • Review executed testing protocols prior to release to client for final review

Project Handover Documentation:

  • Organise the revving up of project documentation
  • Circulate for final approval
  • Organise the hand-over document packs

Other Project Documents:

  • Management documentation around First of Kind/First in Place
  • Liaise with project sub-contractor to get their documentation or testing protocols

Provide assistance to both the QA manager & Project Managers as required.

 

Skillset

  • Highly organised – will work in a structured way, with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Logical and will work in a clear and consistent manner.
  • Excellent attention to detail is required with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Assertiveness skills include confidence and accountability.
  • Customer and team focus with the ability to plan, control, and take corrective actions to resolve day to day issues.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Excellent communication skills – must have fluent English and strong interpersonal skills.
  • The role requires diligence, attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • 2-3 years experience of having worked in a similar role would be beneficial.

Remuneration & Conditions

  • The successful candidate will be based in our Cork office in Marina Commercial Park but with the option of working from home, flexibility is available.
  • The role will also require working on project sites as required.
  • Competitive salary, negotiable on experience.
