BMS Service Technician

You will work as part of a multi-skilled service team carrying out repair and maintenance of Building Management Systems on a range of commercial buildings.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Work will involve commissioning, repairing and maintaining Building Automation & Management Systems.
  • Delivery of effective PPM within a variety of customer locations and types.
  • Respond to breakdown and callout requests.
  • Maintain all procedures in accordance with Sirus SOPs.
  • Identify opportunities for project and energy-saving initiatives and liaise with the BMS Service Manager for pricing recommended works.
  • Electrical or Mechanical knowledge would be desirable but not essential. Training provided.
  • Must meet deadlines on-site and complete reports promptly.
  • Must be proactive and be able to work under own initiative.
  • Be client-focused and have the ability to generate your own work.
  • Must have good communication skills and be able to communicate with customers and peers.
  • Must be familiar with and be able to adhere to site rules and Health & Safety policies.

 

Requirements

  • Previous Electrical or Mechanical or Controls knowledge is preferred.
  • Team player with good timekeeping and communication skills.
  • We require an individual who is keen on developing their skills and is open to learning new systems.
  • Willing to travel nationally.
  • Good IT skills are preferable.

 

Training & Personal Growth

  • Company Sponsorship of relevant training (all business/company pertinent courses of a related discipline are encouraged).

 

Reports To

BMS Service Manager.
