Job Description
Sirus is an Irish-based HVAC, BMS & Energy Efficiency Solutions and Service provider in buildings. We have been providing service to the HVAC, Electrical and Controls industry for over 30 years. We have a distributed team of over 120 staff who all have a part to play in delivering and maintaining compliant, comfortable workspaces and energy-efficient buildings in partnership with our customers, other service providers and suppliers.
Located in our Cork office, the successful candidate will join the Service Desk team, providing the first point of contact for customers, service managers, and engineers. Responsibilities include handling administrative tasks and supporting day-to-day operations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyse maintenance contracts, costings and allowances, and highlight any discrepancies.
- Develop and manage detailed maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with the Service Desk Manager, Service Managers and Customer to prioritise and plan maintenance activities.
- Order consumables in a timely manner, in line with the contract.
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and enhance scheduling efficiency.
- Creating and updating jobs on our CRM system.
- Answering the ServiceDesk Support phone.
- Generating and issuing PO’s.
- Liaising with Service Engineers and Service Managers on a daily maintenance tasks level.
- Responding to customer queries.
- Generating status reports for customers and updating customer platforms.
- Reviewing PPM reports to flag follow-up requirements.
- Preparing maintenance jobs to be sent to accounts for invoicing.
- Reporting to the service desk manager daily.
- General administrative duties.
Requirements
- Desirable skillset would be some level of experience in scheduling (delivery and status of reactive and planned tasks using procedures and methods).
- Attention to detail and processes, strong analytical capabilities.
- Maintain clear and excellent customer service skills at all times.
- Strong problem-solving, and good decision-making skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
- Possess an excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- The successful candidate must have fluent English with excellent interpersonal skills.
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
Training & Personal Growth
- Company Sponsorship of relevant training (All business/company relevant courses in a related discipline are encouraged).
- Requirement to travel to our Dublin office from time to time for training and team meetings.
Reports To
- Service Desk Manager.
Remuneration & Conditions
- Salary will be dependent on experience.
- Performance-based bonus paid annually.
