The IoT-capable Smart Actuator enables autonomous or semi-autonomous control of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning. It’s easy to install and commission using a smartphone app via Bluetooth and it has communication interfaces for every use case.

Compared to a conventional installation with central controllers and valve actuators, the Smart Actuator reduces the size and reduces the cost of the cabinet panels while simultaneously lowering the fire load through less wiring.

Operators of facilities such as schools or medium-sized office buildings can control and monitor their HVAC plant using their smartphone via the SAUTER Cloud.

The SAUTER Smart Sensor combines cutting-edge sensor technology, connectivity, networking and communication in a device the size of a regular presence detector.

Six sensors within the device measure the ambient conditions (temperature, humidity, room air quality, presence/motion, brightness and noise levels), and an LED light ring indicates the state of a room.

The Smart Sensor uses sensor fusion to combine these senses resulting in a more complete reading of the room conditions enabling the efficient operation of digital buildings. Integration in the BMS through a wireless Bluetooth Mesh network enables real-time monitoring and room automation.

SAUTER Vision Center does more than just performing the conventional tasks of a building management system, such as visualisation, monitoring, logging and controlling installations. The solution also supports your energy and maintenance management. Thus it fulfils the high demands of investors, owners and operators for energy- and cost-efficient operation.

Standard across platforms

As a web-based building management solution in the HTML5 standard, SAUTER Vision Center can be used with any operating system and therefore practically every internet browser, whether it is Linux, Unix, iOS, Android or Windows without additional apps or plug-ins. With the certified BACnet client, virtually all devices and information sources in a building can be connected.


The user-friendly design of SAUTER Vision Center makes it easy to operate. A mouse-click or a tap on the touchscreen takes users intuitively to all visualisation and operating functions. Live data and historical charts can be accessed directly from the system diagram. Overviews of room comfort, energy consumption and a range of other key figures highlight the potential for optimisation.
